Terms & Conditions

The rules that apply when you access or use Family Media News websites, newsletters and related services.

Effective August 1, 2026 · Last updated August 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using FMN, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use the service with a parent or legal guardian.

2. Informational and editorial purpose

FMN provides news, commentary, reviews, calendars and general information. Content is not legal, medical, financial, educational-placement or other professional advice. Verify information important to your family with qualified professionals and primary sources.

3. Accuracy, developing stories and corrections

News changes quickly. Although we work to verify material, we do not guarantee that every item is complete, current or error-free. We may correct, update, label, remove or archive content. Our Corrections Policy explains how to report an issue.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, FMN’s original writing, design, branding, graphics and compilation are owned by or licensed to FMN and protected by law. Limited excerpts may be used for criticism, commentary or news reporting where legally permitted and properly attributed. You may not republish full articles, remove notices, impersonate FMN or use our branding without permission.

5. Third-party sources and links

We link to publishers, event organizers, studios, authors and other sources. Links do not transfer ownership, endorse every statement or guarantee availability, safety or accuracy. Third-party terms govern third-party services.

6. User submissions

You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant FMN a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to receive, review, reproduce internally, edit and publish the material for the purpose for which it was submitted. You represent that you have the necessary rights and that the submission is accurate and lawful. Clearly identify confidential or embargoed material before sending it; submission alone does not create a confidential, fiduciary or reporter-source relationship.

7. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with site operation; bypass security or access controls; introduce malicious code; harvest personal data; use automated access in a way that burdens the service; infringe rights; or use FMN content or marks deceptively or unlawfully.

8. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Sponsored or affiliate-supported material will be labeled. Advertisers do not control independent editorial conclusions. We may receive compensation from clearly disclosed commercial relationships.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMN is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted access, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FMN and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and, to the extent permitted, the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version. Questions may be sent to legal@familymedianews.com.

Important: These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
